The National Feral Pig Conference held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Cairns, Qld in June 2023 was an excellent conference. It was superbly organised by the National Feral Pig Action Plan and featured a range of interesting presentations on feral pig ecology, pest management, indigenous-led programs, biosecurity, and epidemiology. There were two AADIS-related presentations by University of Melbourne PhD candidate Maddie Oberin and CEBRA researcher Richard Bradhurst:

Oberin M., Brookes V., Stevenson M., Bradhurst R., Firestone S. (2023). Understanding feral-domestic pig interactions using camera trap surveillance.
